English Version Deutsche Version Thomas Doeser studied law and economics in Frankfurt and Tuebingen and practices business law including all aspects of company law, commercial law, intellectual property, competition, and contract law. The primary focus of his practice is franchise and distribution law.
Mr. Doeser was admitted to the bar in 1983 after working in an international business consultant group which focused on franchising and distribution with marketing counseling and active project management throughout Europe. He also currently serves as partner of a legal counsel to a leading consultant group for strategic distribution and is involved in various national and international franchise projects in Western and Eastern Europe.
In 1982 Thomas Doeser's business consulting firm organised the first franchise conference and exhibition in Germany. A frequent speaker at national and international seminars on franchise law and marketing topics, Thomas Doeser has been invited to speak at the German Franchise Institute (DFI), the German Franchise Association (DFV), the German Bar Association, and national and international chambers of commerce. Since 1994 Mr.Doeser has been named to the teaching faculty of Management Center Europe, the European arm of the American Management Association where he lectures on the legal and economic aspects of "The Franchising Alternativ".Since 1980 Mr. Doeser has published numerous articles on franchise and marketing topics and contributed articles to specialised publications.
Thomas Doeser is the CEO of the E.F.LAW (European Franchise Lawyers Assciation EEIG Brussels) Thomas Doeser is an active member of the German Franchise Association (DFV) and the Franchise Committee of the AIJA (International Young Lawyers Association) as well as various national and international professional associations. He is a full and active member of the International Business Consultant Association for Strategic Consulting (EKS) and the Federal Consultant Union (BDU) of Germany. Mr. Doeser works in English and French in addition to his native German.
Thomas Doeser studierte Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften und praktiziert im Wirtschaftsrecht. Schwerpunkte sind Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht, Wettbewerbs- und Warenzeichenrecht und allgemeines Vertragsrecht. Sein Spezialgebiet ist Vertragsvertriebsrecht und Franchiserecht.
Thomas Doeser ist seit 1983 als selbstständiger Rechtsanwalt tätig, nachdem er in einer internationalen Consulting Firma mit den Schwerpunkten Franchisemarketing und Projektmanagement in ganz Europa gearbeitet hat.
Herr Doeser arbeitet derzeit als Rechtsberater und Partner in einer führenden Consulting Gruppe für strategische Vertriebskonzeptionen (Mitglied im BDU Bundesverband Deutscher Unternehmensberater)und ist in zahlreiche Franchiseprojekte in West- und Osteuropa sowie in Nordamerika eingebunden.
Herr Doeser hält regelmäßig Vorträge und Seminare bei nationalen und internationalen Handelskammern, bei der Deutschen Anwaltsakademie, dem Deutschen Franchiseverband und bei nationalen und internationalen Fachkongressen. Seit 1994 hält Herr Doeser am Management Center Europe in Brüssel, der Niederlassung der amerikanischen Management Association, ein Top - Fachseminar zum Thema Franchising.
Seit 1980 hat Herr Doeser zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen zum Thema Franchising und Marketing zu den verschiedensten Fachzeitschriften und Buchtiteln beigetragen.
Herr Doeser ist aktives Mitglied des Rechtsausschusses des Deutschen Franchiseverbandes, dem Franchisekomittee der AIJA, der internationalen Vereinigung junger Rechtsanwälte und Mitglied vieler nationaler und internationaler Fachverbände. Herr Doeser ist Vorstandsvorsitzender der Beratergruppe Strategie (EKS) sowie geschäftsführender Gesellschafter der E.F.LAW, der European Franchise Lawyers Association EEIG in Brüssel.
